I feel YETI SMX is hands down the best kit out there , unrivalled customer support and seeing the owners and employees so passionate about this sport, makes me want to always support the brand. I've been riding yeti since 2017 and have never looked back , honestly the kits are almost maintenance free (consumables such as bearings etc ) are the only major items that need addressing , I’ve still never blown a belt on any of my kits after a lot of abuse .That says a lot to the durability of Yeti!
The biggest thing I notice with these kits above anything else is the lightness. Just hopping on and riding makes you want to pick more challenging lines, and launch off of whatever pillows you can find. Any time a buddy on a different brand gets stuck, I’m shocked at how much heavier it is lifting their skid out of the snow. The Yeti is by far the most playful kit I’ve rode!
This is great! We live in Southern Idaho and ride in eastern and central Idaho and well as western wyoming. The 137 is a great kit however the 129 climbs just as good and is more nimble, so I think the 129ish is the best length!
The SS is the most nimble and fun kit out there in certain conditions! The 129 Freeride is the master of “do it all”! Thank you so much for asking! It truly shows the dedication you guys have in making the best possible product in a niche market!
